so, as i’m writing this i’m pretty sure there is someone was my house—that, or at least, someone was trying to get in. it’s not everyday you hear the obnoxious sound of key-like objects for more than 4 minutes. i get that it’s windy at all, but this is europe… how windy can it possibly get? anyway.
so i haven’t slept all night (i wanted to, really wanted to, but got distracted by mr nightmare, then kenji, then some unknown youtuber that actually kind of pissed me off with some things he said, so i had to go back and rewatch everything in that order). then, i had the amazing idea of ordering black pencil liner and two different mascaras. i can’t really go anywhere without black pencil liner; i don’t draw wings or anything if you get what i mean. the closest i could explain is the effy liner look from skins uk (the eyeshadow gives her the winged liner illusion, something i don’t actually incorporate, eyeshadow doesn’t look good on my eyes).
the two mascaras were for different purposes: fenty beauty hella thicc mascara, and elf lash n roll mascara. i have naturally long eyelashes, so i found its best to accentuate and curl them with thick mascara followed by gel mascara that gives them a nice shape when you ‘roll’ them up. i quite pride myself in having long lashes, though i often do feel a little bad when a girl goes: “are they natural?” “they’re so long!” it’s like… jesus christ, let’s have some self love, ladies. i feel awful saying “hey, they’re just lashes! stop letting society mansplain your hair to the hair on your feet!”.
eyelashes are such a non-issue.
whoever said women have to have long eyelashes as if other beauty standards aren’t quite literally killing us is probably rolling in his grave right now. when i find who it is, i will spit on their grave.
anyhow, i’m getting off track. sorry, that was my ‘critique society’ speech of the day. you may hear more from me if i get pissed off today, i’m running on 0 sleep.
you know what’s really good? latte coffee from the coffee machine at the train station. i love romanticising life when i have nothing better to do with mine.
i’m a little author in new york sitting running for the metro as i write my next hit novel… not.
it’s like… what did that Adela Jergova girl say? Ain’t made in LA or something. that’s probably the only good song in her catalogue, i’m still quite pissed off at her for the whole KGB thing. that’s a whole different can of worms.
anyway, i need to get ready for class. something tells me there will be a part two to this. bye, ladies and others.
