SSDD Pt. I

Man, every day I wake up to some new frustration with my job. I love it, it blows all my prior jobs out of the water, since I used to work food service, then in a factory as a welder for about a year. The bullshit here is nothing in comparison. Now, over the ten months working here, we've had a lot of policy changes make all processes take longer (for vague context, I work night shift security), for example, increased scrutiny required in inspections, more things breaking that have to be periodically checked on, and unruly contractors who aren't the brightest bulbs. Tonight I come in, and there's maybe three or four new policies, half of which are very ambiguous as to how and when we are supposed to execute them.

Now, all my bellyaching aside, I still love my job a lot. It's not far from home, it's an easy job, and the double edged sword is that my social life takes a hit since my friends are awake during the day. Regardless I still find time for them, and while the pay isn't great, it's enough to meet my needs and then some. I'm forever grateful even for what frustrates me
