STUPID FLEAS - Help!!!

Ok I need help guys, how the actual fuck do you get rid of fleas in NC?? We have spayed the backyard multiple times, and our animals are on preventive, but they still keep tracking them in and we keep finding fleas in the house. We have carpet so we got the flea carpet stuff that you sprinkle on and let sit then vacuum up, but nothing seems to be actually working. Genuinely any tips are welcome. I live in a newer home and its very clean, we have also been washing bedding weekly and just about anything you could think of so If anyone has any tips or anything that might PLEASE comment!!! We have 5 animals total and 7 people in this house, so this has been a nightmare of going through the animals everyday getting fleas, washing bedding and constantly cleaning.
