Summer vacation!!

even though people don't like really touristy places, I love them! that's the whole reason why you go to new areas - to act like a tourist (a respectful one of course)

that being said, the London eye is so ridiculously overpriced. the lines were insanely long and it was £40 for a children's ticket from what I remember. I also went a few years ago so I don't know by how much that price may have inflated by lol. or if the £40 were actually an adult ticket.

there are many cool and tall buildings that you can go to, to see the London skyline as I actually kind of really like it. instead I recommend going to the sky gardens! I haven't actually been there yet but I'm 90% sure its free to go (I just googled it, it is free - though you can book a reservation for restaurants there which may be something you want to do). car parking is expensive but because you're coming from Norway, I don't think that will be an issue. you can use the metro or the bus routes to get there.

I think the Tower of London is a cool place to go! I just checked the price ticket and it says it's £18.50 for a child ticket (5-15 years). idk if you'll turn 16 (your profile says you're 15 so pls don't think I've doxxed you c':) by then but even if u are you can probably just lie and say you're 15 anyway because who would have id on them and you're close enough to the age that no one will bat an eye. Beyonce's daughter looks 17 sometimes but is 13. tickets for adults are £37 and who on earth would want to pay that much money when you can instead spend like half of that. maybe going on a boat on the river thames is cool as well. I've been on one and the first way, we had an awesome guide who was spoke himself and added funny commentary to everything. however on the way back we didn't have a guide and we instead had a broken speaker spouting high pitched crackly history facts about London which sucked. so yeah. going to Buckingham palace was kinda cool. when I went, unfortunately the gates were closed but I got some very pretty photos. the fountain is cool.

a place for shopping I recommend is the Westfield shopping centre in White City (crazy name ik lol). I don't think it has any insanely crazy shops, many of the ones there were also in Manchester City centre or Trafford centre, but I got some nice clothes and skincare there! the food court is also not bad though unfortunately I got something I didn't like (I was very unlucky :c). some shops that were there are: 

Hollister, Adidas (they sell Adidas original clothing which were expensive but looked really cool), berska, Charlotte Tilbury (the lighting in the shop is kinda bad so I don't recommend doing any shade matches yourself there), diesel, Kenji (loved that shop), a lego shop, moida, new balance, a pop mart (though it was TINY and very over crowded, that was the first pop mart I've ever been in and omd its soo overhyped man), pull&bear, Sephora, strativarius, the anime otaku (I didn't actually go in this shop), the ordinary, and Uniqlo. the reason why I found these shops kinda cool is because I don't have any of these shops in my city, I don't know how dead your city is but if its like mine, these shops may interest you. I do realise that most of these shops aren't that unique so that's why I don't be too surprised if many people said that they didn't like Westfield. tbf, for the largest shopping centre in Europe, I also lowk expected more. the reason why I enjoyed it was because the bar is kinda at my ankles. the architecture isn't even that good compared to a place like the Trafford centre in Manchester (the ceiling in the food court.. omg its so cool). and please be aware that all of these shops are pretty expensive. literally everything in London is expensive and the only cheap things you will be able to find is in charity shops. I think on average the price of a clothing item is £30 to £50 (excluding luxury shops), so I don't know if that counts as like mad expensive - in my eyes I think that's pretty expensive. 

to get here you can come by metro (how I got there) and a bus route (though the one I had to use was a bit far away)

to be fair, I really liked southall but that might just be because I'm asian. there was a bunch of street vendors and nice panjabees (I'm 90% sure that's not how you spell it in English but that's how I say the word, idk if actual south asians say it the same way). I got this fresh sugar cane drink there which was really good. it was so weird on how I could hear people speaking my home language because in my normal city, other asians that speak the same language as me is so rare. there was a lot of awesome food places. honestly, call be biased but I think south/central asian food is the best type of food.

overall, I hope you have fun in London, sorry I kinda just waffled on a whole lot of nothing but hopefully you got something out of my massive essay haha. hope you like the UK ^^
