okay... real question.
how did everyone figure out how to code their profiles?
did you actually know html, or was it mostly just trial and error?
i feel like everyone had to break their profile at least once before they finally figured out what they were doing.
i swear i change one little thing and suddenly half my profile disappears.
any tips for the noobs? lol.
what's something you learned the hard way? or what's one trick you wish someone had told you when you first started?
help me out.

Adding to what GOAT said if you want to find a specific thing you can right click the element on the page and click inspect. Then that should open up the inspector on the element you clicked. Then you can find the class name of that and make a css entry for it in the style section.

i'm still a noob but i watched some youtube tutorials and i use inspect element a lot, complete lifesaver for me and idk why but for this website i have to spam !important to make changes stick sometimes

lets you see the css
which you can tinker with locally
and it wont make permachanges or anything
but its a good way to learn <33
