The absolute worst job I've had (long one)

Ok, this is gonna be a long one but it's something I've wanted to get off my chest because it pisses me off everytime I think about it, even though it's been two months since I last worked there, but seriously, just need to get this out

For context, I moved back home in December and was out of a job for a while because it's basically fucking impossible to actually try landing a job, so I had to get by on the savings I had from my previous one (which thankfully I had a lot of), so when I finally DID get a new job at a fast food place in early April I was fucking ecstatic, especially since I had already planned ahead of time to go to a convention with one of my friends, so it'd be extra spending money there and would help pay for some stuff. The only issue (at the time) was that it was half an hour away from where I lived, but I dealt with it since I got paid $13/hour which was more than enough to cover gas or whatever else.

I'll admit, the first month wasn't that bad, it was a bit hectic, sure, but it wasn't necessarily 'bad' just yet, but it's like when I came back from my convention in May that the job went from 'alright' to 'horrible', and it's not because of the customers (because I worked in the back) or my coworkers (since they were actually pretty nice and chill people), but with my bosses. It felt like they started being more demanding and slightly... I dunno, irritated with me.

What REALLY set me off and made me utterly hate the job was when I got scheduled for a short day (around 3 hours) and they had me roll out filets since it's a chicken place, they never told me how long it would take or that I would have anything else to do afterwards
so naturally I took my time doing it, and I actually enjoyed doing it, especially since they let me listen to music when I worked. Keep in mind that NOBODY stopped by when I was working to say anything, the closest would be just checking in and seeing what I was doing. THEN once the three hours were nearly up and I was done, they suddenly say I had a new task to do, and one of the managers was repeatedly like "why were you so slow???? whyd you take so long to do it???" even though it was the first time I ever did it and nobody told me how long it'd take.

I repeatedly told them "it's the first time I did it and nobody ever said it would take a certain amount of time", but they just repeated themselves without even listening to me, being all like "it should only have taken you like an hour or 45 minutes", like dude, you should've fucking said that BEFORE I did all that work, then I would've sped it up. THEN once I clocked out they gave me a damn infraction because I was slow and "needed to keep up productivity with everyone else", that's the moment that made me utterly go "i fucking hate this place and i want to leave", really wanted to just tell them to go eat a bag of dicks after I read that shit but nah, I was looking for other jobs anyways so I completely stopped caring till I landed something else

Then I got fired a week later because of a "lack of work" anyways, so I was out of a job again, and to make matters worse, when I checked Indeed later on the next week (I believe), they listed a "college team member" position available for about what they paid me, so fuck them, thankfully I got my current job only a week later (even if I'm still looking for something that pays better), so at least I quickly found something else instead of still being jobless months later.

I was only there for like 45 days, that's the least amount of time I've ever spent at a job, makes me wonder why they even bothered hiring me and doing orientation and having me do training if they were just gonna fire me after like a month anyways, and I've never stepped foot inside of that chain since then, and I get annoyed whenever their ads play on TV or the radio
