The concept of a minority group hating on another minority group

It is inconsistent and self-defeating for anyone who has faced prejudice based on their sexual orientation or gender identity to harbor or express bigotry toward people based on their race or ethnicity.

If you understand the sting of being reduced to a single trait, dismissed, or stereotyped simply for existing, then turning around and inflicting the same treatment on another group makes you a hypocrite, not a warrior for justice. Victimhood in one arena does not grant a license to victimize others in another. True consistency demands that you reject identity-based prejudice across the board, not just when it targets you.

This cuts deeper than mere optics. Every group contains individuals capable of cruelty and tribalism; no community has a monopoly on virtue or vice. Swallowing mainstream biases and redirecting them at convenient targets doesn't purchase acceptance or moral high ground, it simply perpetuates the same flawed pattern of judging people by collective identity rather than character and conduct. It betrays the principle worth defending: that individuals deserve to be evaluated on their own merits, not as avatars of their demographic.

You cannot credibly demand dignity, fairness, and freedom from discrimination for yourself while denying it to others because their challenges differ from yours. Solidarity is not an entitlement owed by shared "marginalization." It must be grounded in mutual recognition of shared humanity and consistent principles. Anything less is ordinary prejudice dressed up in the language of the oppressed.

Prejudice is not a scarce resource to ration according to whose suffering ranks higher on some hierarchy. It is a failure of reason and empathy, full stop. Reject it universally, or your own claims ring hollow.
