The Cycle

The cycle continues 

The endless push          and pull

The want you know you cant have

Acceptance 

                  Loyalty 

                                                Love. 

Just as you build up the walls you kept guard so long

It               shatters

      Piece

         by 

      piece  

Until all thats left is the bricks that used to be so sturdy 

                Love is the funniest of feelings 

One that leads you to do things you shouldn’t

   Or should but wouldn’t 

But love follows heartbreak 

It grows and grows 

Unrequited            Meaningless 

Until

It stops 

The wall is rebuilt 

Brick 

       By 

          Brick 

                                                             Until it cracks 

And the cycle continues.
