The eyes are a window to the soul

I am sure you have heard this at least once in your life “The eyes are the window to someone’s soul!”, and I can agree with that. Some people have bright eyes, not just when it comes to the color, but you can see their hope, their ambition, their spark. Some people have dull and empty eyes that carry pain and sometimes malice, but also strength. 

However, a window can always be covered with curtains from the inside, so you can’t see what’s in there, like some eyes that look reserved and off-putting, but turn out to be hopeful or vulnerable once the curtains are pulled away. Or a window can always turn out to be just a sticker placed on a wall to fool others, like some eyes that seem like they give you hope, but once you pull the sticker, you’re left with a cold, hard brick wall.

Some windows look dirty, but inside there’s a room full of happiness. Some windows look neat, but inside there’s someone forced to keep them clean all the time. 

Do not look into someone’s eyes too long, you won’t be able to see much, but if you look too much into someone’s window, you can notice plenty of things. So there is a difference between windows and eyes, haha!

Windows, the same as eyes and looks in general, can be deceiving. Do not judge by how they look, their color, the pain that they carry visibly, the scars they have…You should try to learn someone’s soul story instead of looking at their eyes hoping to find something more often, you’ll be surprised.
