Does anyone else know this story? It's originally Hungarian (I think), but other people must have heard it. Summer ends so the little bird wants to go on a journey, but he has no shoes, and the shoemaker is busy making shoes for all the bigger birds so the little guy is left without shoes, so he couldn't go and now all he sings about is his shoes. That's the basics of it, or rather the entire story. It's a very short story, might actually be a poem cuz it's written in rhyme and can be read in rhythm. Depressing as it may be, it's a childhood staple and Vilmos Gryllus (Hungarian children's song writer/singer) sings it so jolly. I wanna know if people from other countries know this story, or even variations of it.
