the urge

ive always believed that our purpose was to create and invent, an urge to know more and understand. we've questioned the stars, the ground beneath us, the marine world beyond us, we've questioned all that is around us. we've created concepts, ideals, and pondered questions that are just merely beyond our comprehension.

if we were not put on this earth to make, then why is the desire so great? if we were able to go from first creating fire, then to setting foot on the moon 250,000 miles away from earth, we MUST be capable of more than the box we are starting to trap ourselves in with this coming technology. the act of a young child scribbling on paper is just as great as any painting made by a master. it is not the quality that matters entirely, but the fact that it was made from somewhere deep and vulnerable within us, to rip out your own heart and put it on a canvas and call it love, each squirt of blood a reminder of life.

and yet robots are the ones mimicking art and we are the ones working till our death, when it is supposed to be the opposite! should technology not be the one to do the labor while we create and search for more? im afraid of us losing the drive to do more, the drive to make and inspire each other. we simply just cannot succumb to the ideal of working with no other passion. search through history and recognize all the instances we've had surges of art be born, the achievements and movements had. we've done so much throughout history, and im scared sick that certain technology will have cradled us too much to the point we've spoiled our born desire to try and either fail or soar.

what are we without love? i wholeheartedly believe the one thing that connects mankind is our love and art, the innate need for each other and our touch, the fact we've all been born of the same cloth but are so SO different in our own ways. we connect through reations of the heart and soul through hands of the same flesh. we are all part of the same species, and we truly start to crumble when we dont help a fallen or needy.

we are beyond the world thats been created around us, beyond the office enclosed around us, beyond the atmosphere and the stars were our first form.
