there are beauty standards...within the goth community?

i came across this girl on tiktok doing a get ready with me, and some of the comments were making fun of her appearance. this is not the first time i've seen this happen. how did we get to a stage where a subculture based on rejecting conventional beauty ideals has developed beauty standards of its own? there's an ideal face, ideal body type, ideal look. same hair. same accessories. same white foundation. how are we conforming in a non-conformist subculture? can we lock in.
