Honestly, I don't even know where to start because I'm so tired of everything happening at home. I'm tired of the expectations, the strict rules, the constant arguments, and the feeling that my parents don't really listen to my side. Sometimes, I just want to cry because everything feels so overwhelming, and I don't even know how to handle it anymore. I feel like there's always something expected of me. There's always something new to learn, something to finish, or something I need to improve. I understand that my parents want me to have a good future, but sometimes, it feels like they expect me to be good at everything instead of giving me enough time to focus on what I genuinely love. I have my own dreams and interests, but it's difficult to pursue them when so much of my time and energy goes toward meeting other people's expectations. I'm sorry, but I'm a human being, not a machine. I can't learn everything quickly or do everything perfectly just because someone expects me to. I have my own pace, interests, and limitations, and I wish people would understand that. Just because I'm capable of doing something doesn't mean I always have the time or energy to do it. I already have so many responsibilities, and sometimes, it feels like I barely have time for myself. Even the things I'm good at can become another source of pressure when people start expecting more from me. I'm grateful for what I've learned, but I also want to use my skills for my own dreams and interests. I want to create things because I enjoy them, not always because someone else needs something from me. There are so many things I want to accomplish in life, but sometimes, the pressure makes it difficult to even begin. I want to explore my creativity, discover what I'm capable of, and work toward a future that genuinely makes me happy. I don't want to spend so much time trying to meet everyone's expectations that I eventually forget what I want for myself. Sometimes, even my own thoughts and emotions feel difficult to manage. I can have so many things going on in my head at once that I don't know how to organize them or explain them properly. There are times when I know what I'm feeling deep down, but I struggle to find the right words to express it. It becomes frustrating when I can't explain myself and start worrying that people will misunderstand me. Sometimes, I need more time to process things, but it feels like everyone expects me to understand everything immediately. I wish people understood that struggling to explain myself doesn't mean I'm not trying. Sometimes, I just need patience, time, and someone willing to listen without making me feel like I have to justify every emotion I experience. I also feel overwhelmed by the expectations surrounding beliefs, values, and the way I'm supposed to live my life. I understand that my parents have their own principles and believe they're guiding us in the right direction, but I wish they would understand that having our own thoughts doesn't automatically mean we're trying to disrespect them. I'm still learning about myself and the world around me. I have questions, opinions, and feelings that I need time to understand. I don't think it's wrong to think differently or to need time to figure out what feels right to me. I wish there were more room for honest conversations instead of feeling like I always have to agree just to avoid another argument. There are also personal matters that I don't always feel comfortable talking about openly because I never know how people might react. Sometimes, I wish I could keep certain parts of my life to myself without feeling like I'm doing something wrong. I want to understand my own feelings and make sense of my experiences without constantly worrying about being judged, misunderstood, or made to feel guilty for the way I think and feel. I know my parents have their own ideas about what is right and wrong, but I wish they would consider how their words and expectations affect me, too. Not everything that's important to me will necessarily make sense to them, and I'm tired of feeling like I have to explain or defend parts of myself just to be taken seriously. Sometimes, I wish they would listen before assuming they already know everything about me. My parents can also be strict about the things I enjoy, the way I spend my time, and the choices I make for myself. Sometimes, even the smallest things can turn into disagreements because we don't always see things the same way. I understand that they want to protect me, but sometimes, it feels like there's barely any room for me to enjoy things without worrying about being judged or getting into trouble. I wish they would try to understand my perspective instead of immediately assuming something is wrong just because it's unfamiliar to them. I want to have interests, hobbies, and things that make me happy without constantly feeling like I need to defend them. It's exhausting when even the things that help me relax become another reason to feel stressed. What makes everything harder is the tension at home. It feels like everyone wants to be understood, but not everyone is willing to listen. Sometimes, arguments become less about understanding each other and more about proving who's right. And when that happens, it feels like my own thoughts and feelings get pushed aside. When my parents are upset, we're expected to listen to them, but sometimes, we don't get the same opportunity to explain ourselves. We're their children, but we have feelings, too. We can be hurt, overwhelmed, confused, and frustrated. Being younger doesn't mean our opinions don't matter, and it doesn't mean we should always stay quiet when something affects us. I'm tired of feeling like I have to meet everyone's expectations while having so little time and energy for myself. Sometimes, the stress becomes so overwhelming that I get headaches, cry, and lose the motivation to do anything. The things that once made me excited about my future sometimes feel like distant dreams because I'm too exhausted to focus on them. I hate that I'm starting to lose motivation for the things I genuinely want to do. I don't want all this pressure to take away the excitement I once felt about my dreams. I want to be creative, learn new things, and discover who I can become, but sometimes, it feels like I'm spending more energy trying to keep up with everything else than actually building the life I want. And honestly, it hurts because I never wanted to feel this way about my own family. I don't want to carry so much anger and disappointment, but I can't pretend that everything has been easy for me. The way I feel toward my parents has changed because of the things I've experienced, and sometimes, I don't even know what to do with all the frustration I've been keeping inside. Sometimes, I imagine what it would be like to have more independence when I'm older. I want to experience making my own decisions, managing my own life, and having the freedom to discover things for myself. I don't want to feel like every little choice I make needs to be approved by someone else. I want to experience life without constantly worrying about whether I'm doing something that will disappoint my parents. I know no family is perfect, but that doesn't mean I should have to ignore my own feelings just because we're family. I'm tired of feeling guilty for wanting space, freedom, and the chance to make my own decisions. Sometimes, I just want to live without feeling like I have to explain myself every time I do something differently from what is expected of me. I don't expect my parents to be perfect. I know they have their own struggles and may genuinely believe they're doing what's best for us. But I wish they understood that being a parent doesn't mean every part of your child's life has to follow your expectations. We have our own dreams, interests, opinions, and ways of understanding the world. We're not always going to think the same way, and that shouldn't automatically become a problem. I'm not asking for a life without responsibilities. I'm asking for balance, understanding, and enough time to become my own person. I want to pursue my dreams without feeling guilty, learn at my own pace, and enjoy the things I love without constantly worrying about being judged. I'm still young, and I'm still figuring out who I am. There are things about myself that I'm still learning to understand, and there are feelings I don't always know how to explain. I don't want to spend my entire life trying to meet everyone's expectations until I eventually forget what I actually want for myself. Sometimes, I wish my parents would stop asking me to do more and actually ask me how I'm doing. I wish they would notice when I'm overwhelmed, even when I can't explain it properly. I wish they understood that sometimes, silence doesn't mean I have nothing to say. Sometimes, it simply means I don't know how to express everything I'm feeling without making things worse. Sometimes, I might sound angry when I'm actually hurt. Sometimes, I might seem distant when I'm really just trying to process everything. And sometimes, I might struggle to explain myself even when there's so much I want to say. It's frustrating when I have to deal with my own emotions while also worrying about how other people will interpret them. That doesn't mean I don't care. It doesn't mean I'm not trying. And it definitely doesn't mean my feelings don't matter. I'm tired of being expected to be good at everything. I'm tired of feeling unheard. I'm tired of feeling like I have to explain myself just to be understood. I'm tired of trying to figure out my own emotions while also worrying about how everyone else will react to them. Sometimes, I wish I could just exist without feeling like I constantly have to prove that I'm trying hard enough. I'm a person, not a machine. I'm their child, not someone they can mold into their ideal person. I have my own dreams, struggles, boundaries, and limitations. I'm still learning how to handle everything, and I can't always do it perfectly. I shouldn't have to be perfect just to feel like I'm doing enough. I don't need my parents to understand every part of me immediately, and I don't expect them to agree with every opinion I have or every decision I make. But I wish they would give me the chance to express myself without immediately judging me or assuming they already know what's best for me. I want to feel like I can grow into my own person without constantly worrying about disappointing someone. I want the freedom to explore my interests, the time to pursue my dreams, and the space to understand myself without feeling pressured to explain every little thing about who I am. More than anything, I'm tired of feeling like I have to hide parts of myself just to avoid arguments or disappointing people. I'm tired of wondering whether being honest about what I think and feel will only lead to another lecture, another disagreement, or another reason for someone to be upset with me. Sometimes, keeping things to myself feels easier than trying to explain them, even when it means carrying everything alone. Maybe I don't know how to explain everything I'm going through yet. Maybe there are things I'd rather keep to myself until I'm ready to talk about them. But that doesn't mean my struggles aren't real, and it doesn't mean I'm not trying my best. There are things I deal with internally that other people might never notice, and I'm tired of feeling like I have to make my struggles obvious before anyone takes them seriously. I'm still learning, still growing, and still trying to find my place in the world. I just wish I could do that without feeling like I have to prove myself all the time. Sometimes, I don't need advice, another lecture, or another expectation. I just need space to breathe without feeling guilty for being tired. I need time to understand myself without being rushed, and I need the freedom to make mistakes without feeling like every mistake proves something negative about me. I don't want to lose myself trying to become the person everyone else expects me to be. I want the chance to become the person I choose to be, at my own pace and in my own way. I don't want to look back on my life one day and realize that I spent so much time trying to make everyone else happy that I never gave myself the chance to figure out what would make me happy. And honestly, I'm sorry if I'm not the child my parents imagined I would be. I'm sorry if the way I think, the things I want, and the choices I make don't fit the expectations they have for me. I'm sorry if I can't always be the kind of child they want me to be. Maybe I'll never be the person they imagined having, and maybe no matter how hard I try, I'll always feel like I'm falling short of their expectations. Sometimes, I wonder if I'll ever be enough in their eyes without having to change so many things about myself. I'm tired of feeling like who I am will never be quite right, like there's always something I need to fix, improve, or change before I can finally be accepted. I'm not saying I'm perfect, and I know I have things I need to work on. But I'm tired of feeling like my mistakes, differences, and personal choices are the only things people notice about me. I'm tired of feeling like I have to become someone else just to make the people around me satisfied. I'm their child, but I'm also my own person. I have my own mind, my own dreams, and my own way of seeing things. I can't keep forcing myself to fit into someone else's idea of who I should be without eventually losing sight of who I am. And maybe that's what hurts the most: knowing that I can try so hard to meet everyone's expectations and still end up feeling like I'm not enough. I'm sorry I can't be everything you want me to be, but I'm tired of feeling like being myself is something I should apologize for.
