this week - Night walks and Yelena the scooter

The week technically isn't over but I'm feeling inspired to write one of these anyway and I've been meaning to start a weekly blog of sorts so I may as well start now.

So this week! We're looking at September 21st to 27th and so far it's been pretty uneventful. I'm sick with a mystery cold and I've been sleeping almost non stop for the past three days. I think I'll feel better over the next few days so I'm hoping to get out of the house and do some stuff. 

Outside of being sick I've been gifted with an electric scooter! My dad bought her for me because he wants me to come to his work after school and she's beautiful. We named her Yelena. She's also a little terrifying because she can go 75km per hour and I've historically been very prone to crashing into stuff on wheeled transport devices. We're putting in some learning hours so I don't hurt myself so we'll see how things go when the time comes.

I was supposed to call a school for upgrading this week but I really don't want to be forced back into online school or need to walk more than 30 mins to school so I'm just going to wait until next semester to upgrade at the uni near me. I already got my high school diploma like a year ago anyway so I don't think I realistically have any other choice... my step mom is just going to be pissed that I wont do it. She's always a little pissed at me so I don't mind too much.

I have also discovered that it is now the perfect weather for night walks again. I'm a little short on money this month but once a year in October I try to go on a nice night walk through the city, and while it isn't a necessity to spend money on these night walks, my house is right next to Chinatown and the mall there is open pretty late so I usually drop about $25 on snacks and DVDs. I'm excited for night walks though because my best friend is moving in with me for the month for work for the second year in a row and my long distance partner keeps teasing the idea of driving over to visit!

The music my phone has been recommending me is also really good this week. might link some on this post if i can figure out how.
