Thoughts on all the retro/small social media I've tried thus far

These guys are really chill, this site feels like a very nice inbetween of modern social media and old school, only problem I have with this site is that the points feel like an addictive element to a site that already has addictive elements like scrolling. I feel like customization should be something available right off the bat.

So sad bc I adore how this site looks but I just do not fuck with it. I think it's admittedly more of a product of the userbase being very young, a lot of the posts just feel either charged with anger or sadness, I think people should have a place to vent but somewhere like Bliish that's structured a lot like Twitter just is not good. A blog based site where people aren't gonna be forced to look at what you say would be better.

I LOVE THIS ONE it's still extremely small but people are still quite active. It's so simple but effective, I think this is the first scrolling-type social media that doesn't make me wanna doomscroll forever (that is a good thing!!!) Also there's a lot of awesome artists

OMG hi!! This place is so far my favorite MySpace-like site. The UI is great, the people on here are super cool, I love the music player (though I still wish you could just upload files but I get it) and I love the feature of being able to upload videos. Great site 10/10

Very close 2nd place next to FriendRewind, I think the only thing that keeps me from using it all the time is that it takes awhile to load each page for me, because other than that it's a great site!

Ribbit

I fuck with how it's set up but I haven't really gotten myself to use it, feels like it's targeted at younger people which I think is cool, I think teens need a safe space on the internet and I think a social media like Ribbit would be a lot healthier than something like Bliish but just not for me.
