i am so sick and tired of people being one another’s clones like whatever happened to INDIVIDUALITY ?? why is every girl i know wearing the same outfits and talking the same way and acting the same way and following every single trend that there is like what are we as a society doing ?? i don’t see the point of life tbh if i can’t be myself

i feel you. when i was in high school it seemed like 97% of the kids were mostly just carbon copies of each other, like same clothes, slangs (that would change like every 2 months), personality, etc. it's social media's fault due to trends for the reason why everyone seems to look and be the same. god i hate modern social media, it's such a cancer to society, tons of misinformation on it, and im so glad i left the last of it 3 years ago. the worst one was tiktok which i thankfully left in 2022, felt like i was a recovering drug addict. now i just use this and discord mainly.
anyways, most importantly be yourself! and if they call you a "pick me" or "trying to be special" for not being trendy, tell them to kindly fuck off. embrace your niche interests and nerdiness, and fuck the trends that seem to change every millisecond! LOL. plus you'll be saving money by not following some trends. :)
