toxic masculinity is something you shouldn't be proud of

Toxic masculinity (red pilled ideology included) is a set of traits that are promoted to be part of the mentality of a "true man", but they're just values that focus on destructive social norms, such as mysogyny, homophobia and domination.Basically they taugh you that "a real men has no emotional complexity/understanding and should be a brute who marks their dominace through sheer strenght while being closed minded".Basically they teach you that a real man is emotionless, dumb and rich.

On tiktok there was this sphere of "literally me" characters who represent toxic masculinity, and some of these include:

- Walter White (Breaking Bad, 2008-2013)

A prime example, he's deemed as a toxic man simply by his actions.Starting as an ordinary high school chemestry teacher, soon discovers that he has lung cancer and only one year left to live.With that in mind, he started to do everything he could to leave his already somewhat poor family some money.As such, he started making 99.1% pure methamphetamine with his high school dropout stundent Jess Pinkman.During the show's runtime, Walt's character has evolved in a bad way, becoming a prime example of a toxic man (emotionless and cold, manipulative, especially towards skyler and jesse and asserted dominance through violent means).He isn't a "literally me" he's the example of what happens when a good guy becomes desperate to provide for his family before he breaths his last breath

- Homelander (The Boys, 2019-2026)

The main antagonist of the Prime show The Goys/Boys, he's deemed as one due to his extreme violence and dominative personality.However, he's not only a deeply flawed man, but also a moron.He's nothing more than the mascot of Vought and was raised like a lab experiment.Hell, he doesn't even have a family or a name (just John).He has a fabricated tale about his family by Vought.He also suffers from mommy issues and is very sensitive emotionally.But, enough of this sad doing.He's also evil.He raped  assaulted Billy Butcher's wife, other women in the Seven (Starlight, Queen Maeve), let the people of Flight 37 just die instead of saving anyone, kills a lot and is overall a psycho.He did deserve to die by Butcher's hands, despite the rest of the episode being ass.

- Patrick Bateman (American Psycho, 2001)

A succesful bussinese man and "certified sigma".A dude who was adored by teens on tiktok for being a rich and "based" guy, like him not being a cold man, very emotionless and a murdered, as seen in him killing a homeless man and stepping on his dog.He is nothing more than a mentally unstable and weak person.

- Andrew Tate (sadly still lives)

A famous "influencer" who rose to fame because of his lifestyle and luxuries, he is the blueprint of a toxic masculinity influencer.Mysogynist, indifferent to other people, all he did was to promote the idea that you need to have money and "whores" in your life to succeed.He put the base of tiktok teens wanting to start dropship bussinesses and ascend to a rich lifestyle.Despite all of this, he was a bad person regardless, being accused of doing human trafficking in Romania and recently being in possesion of pictures containting kids who were abused.

What I'm trying to convince you is that becoming a cold man, incapable of feeling any empathy or emotion at all, only pursuing goals to validate your idea that you got off a random idiot and being a braindead gorrila is not the way.

Those values do not "define" a man.A man is defied by his sensitibility towards weaker people, his empathy and strenght to assist those in need.

In conclusion, be more like Aragorn than Homelander.

Because he ended up marrying a beautiful woman and restored Middle Earth's peace.

Homelander ended getting his upper skull ripped with a crowbar.
