In my area we have a lot of small like.. food and culture festivals, ai like going to the Russian (but more like Ukrainian) festival. I typically don't hear a lot of Russian and Ukrainian or even accents to feel comfortable enough to try and practice my Russian. (if i wasn't a coward anyways) went with a friend and she figured out was traditional slavic and balalaika music. Had some fried fish and kielbasa with the greesiest fries. They also had different vodka shots, a pirate punch (we live by a lake) and creamsickle that was so fucking good.
We went to some yard sales before hoping to find more knives for my friends knife collection. Sadly no knives but I found a russian history book and a Tom Clancy novel and a old film camera.
After that hung out at their place and to see my other friend who got out of the hospital recently since she couldn't go out. Pet her dog and bunny, only one though cuz the other 3 were being difficult :(.
