Do you ever think about what media you're consuming and how that must be affecting you? Years ago I used to listen to true crime for probably 8+ hours a day while I was working. Eventually I was so anxious and depressed (for other reasons) that I decided feeding myself a constant stream of horrific things probably wasn't what I needed. Now I work with cancer patients and was thinking yesterday that even though I'm not bothered by the sad things we see here, my subconscious HAS to be taking note of them. It made me wonder if my job now (and working on the ambulance for 2+ yrs) is one of the reasons I'm so cynical all the time. Anyway, that's my rant for today. ( ◜‿◝ )♡

This is me currently. I was into the scary true stories and true crime stories there since 2018. But despite that, the past year or so, it's weighed heavy on me. I get to thinking about the events discussed and it bothers me a lot. Like where it's an anxiety type of deal. Ya know, like as wild as it sounds what if I go through something like this. I think in moderation it'd be fine, but overtime I've started to stay clear of it. Gotta say my mindset has improved and been focusing on being in a positive frame of mind. Thanks for sharing!
