I'm apprehensive to post about this because idk if I'm just overreacting, but my TV Production teacher kinda pmo. She had us come up with unique stories and make pitches for them to the point where we'd get genuinely attached. She even had us write an entire pilot episode for each of our shows, like, legitimately pre-plan and script a pilot. We all finished them and she had us partner up to give and receive scripting advice, it was super fun. Right after the group script revision, she called us all over to her desk and just straight up told us all to throw out our ideas, because we weren't actually gonna be using them!
No, she didn't tell us this would happen beforehand. I tried to express confusion to her, and yes, I was very polite. I'm extremely quiet in school. She got really passive-aggressive and told me to "not get attached". Ms, you had us spend three weeks worldbuilding. You had us make character art! What do you mean "don't get attached"??

What the hell? That just seems stupid of her. The whole point of producing a show is that you like the show, telling you all to just toss it out sounds like bullshit. You should keep working on it outside of class to spite her
Lol! Don't worry, I will. I fully agree, it's so weird! I've never been to a creative class where a teacher has had us make detailed concepts and then get rid of them.
