Oh boy, looks like the heatwave and wildfires have reached the point everyone dreaded - the emergency phone alert stage. The harbinger of a drought, and the sign that everything is very much not ok.
Maybe the corporate bigwigs will take this as a sign to, idk, invest in green energy that doesn't fuck up the world around us?

i'm more concerned about the domino effect the wildfires (and lack of rainfall) are having on the ecosystem as a whole. i'm glad the military have stepped in tbh - all this crap has been a significant drain on emergency services who are already stretched to capacity :o
