#1 Xena: Warrior Princess (tv show) Through and through the absolute best show to ever exist and Xena is the reason I'm a lesbian today. I have a chakram tattoo as dedication
#2 Mädchen in Uniform (1931 German film that was banned for years) Such an erotic women's boarding school student & teacher relations type film. You can watch it on Youtube with subtitles of course!
#3 Carol (Cate Blanchett is one of my favorite actresses and one of the most beautiful women in the world and she is so hot in this film which is based on the book Price of Salt which I know and love)
#4 Lost & Delirious A punch to the gut but absolutely hot AF, 2001
#5 Imagine Me & You (Lena Headey & Piper Perabo) Need I say more?
#6 Nurse Ratched (Sarah Paulson & Cynthia Nixon, the tension between them in this show is so sexy)
#6 Portrait of a Lady on Fire (It's a must) 2019
#7 Ammonite (Kate Winslet who we know and love from Titanic plays an older lesbian in love with a younger woman played by Saoirse Ronan.) 2020
#8 Thelma & Louise (I don't care what anyone says, this is a lesbian film all the way)
#9 Gentleman Jack from HBO Max and BBC (historically accurate and so beautifully erotic and naughty) Became such a fan of Suranne Jones and all her work
#10 Jessica Jones (tv series) because her lesbian boss is played by Carrie-Anne Moss (Trinity from the Matrix)

I'll add Love Lies Bleeding (2024), I Care A Lot (2020), But I'm A Cheerleader (1999), and Mulholland Drive (2001)
Oooh I Care A Lot was such a crazy movie but good and I've heard of the cult classic But I'm a Cheerleader and still haven't seen Mulholland Drive though it's on my list of movies to see.
Thank you for adding on :)

Always happy to keep the convo going on lesbian film! This year has been a little bland for lesbians but the director of I Saw The TV Glow just put out a movie called Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma which is super sapphic. Haven't seen it yet though so can't comment on its quality

Camp Miasma is going to be phenomenal. It's got Gillian Anderson and Hannah Einbinder. Pure magic
