...am I too hot-blooded? Been asking myself that question a lot. I dunno why but it feels like I'm way easier to anger these days. Could just be a byproduct of a really stressful life, but it could also just be a kneejerk reaction to modern society. There are probably plenty of potential reasons and factors so it'd be hard to name just one and say that's the primary cause. I dunno, maybe I should take up something like stoicism or some other form of self-discipline.
...moving swiftly on to an outrage piece: I'm convinced that people who have had a near-death experience are completely and totally unable to relate to people who are actually on death's door (or getting there). I was talking to someone like that today and offhandedly mentioned how the Supper Mario Broth (a really cool Mario blog) guy is going through some health troubles and he (not exaggerating) put on this big, shit-eating grin and said "The best part is that all of that is only temporary!" Like come the fuck on, man. Are you really gonna go up to someone suffering in pain and tell them "Death is awesome!"? That's sick.

...now listening: "Trans Canada Highway" by Boards of Canada. BOC fans were eating good in the 2000s, holy. Within a span of 6 years, they got the In a Beautiful Place... EP, Geogaddi, a Twoism reissue, The Campfire Headphase and lastly this EP. It's "Dayvan Cowboy" from The Campfire Headphase, four castaways from TCH (I think. Could be new tracks) and a remix of Dayvan Cowboy by Odd Nosdam of cLOUDDEAD fame. All of the exclusive tracks are great: "Left Side Drive" in particular reminds me of an airport. Make of that what you will.
