I'm finally going on a trip, yay!
I leave tomorrow. Ohh, I'm so excited~
It's nothing too special, I'm just going to a small beach town in-state. But I've never been that far south before in the nearly 5 years I've lived in Texas!!!! What's the farthest south I've been, DeSoto?
I'm also going to be stopping in Houston and go to a store I've been wanting to go so bad, BOOK-OFF!!!! So many figures and manga~
The only thing I'm really worried about is the humidity...
Up here, it's mostly dry heat in the summer. But it's like Florida past Houston. And Florida humidity is so bad...

FELLOW TEXAN !! ohhh im so excited for you!! i go to galveston/bolivar every summer- gettin all that dirty texas beach water in (despite all the sediment, it is very relaxing :3)
frankly the humidity Does suck but being by the beach definitely helps, i would recommend bringing a portable fan (one of the electric ones or the pretty paper ones) or if you can stay in with air conditioning and indulge in a smoothie bowl or two, that works too <3
hope u have lots of fun !! pick up lots of shells and relax by the waves, those r my favorite things to do (˶˃ ᵕ ˂˶) .ᐟ.ᐟ
Eh i dont really consider myself a Texan actually XD. I'm from Jersey and still consider it as a part of me. The waves seem fun though!!! It looks pretty nice to me~
