ok so recently i saw post here on friendrewind it was a girl RIGHTFULLY complaining about some men making gross comments on her body. people in the comments were vitcmblaming??? first of all id like to say even if someone is showing parts of their body it doesnt warrant those types of perveted comments. second of all. its not about the clothes its about the person. im also alt AND a hijab and men will still stare at me for prolonged amounts of time..and i just so grossed out it makes me wanna throw up (plus im a minor they're a grown adult hello??) also i thought we got over this 'what was she wearing?' bullshit how many times does it have to be said? why are we blaming the vitcm instead of the perpetrator? why do women always have to adjust just so people dont violate us? when will be seen as fully human? i honestly dont know. its just so tiring..

it makes me so angry that people only care about what clothes women wear while men can wear whatever and get praised for it. Instead of focusing on what women choose to wear we should teach men to keep their hands to themselves and respect other people.
