How long did it take us to forget?

Every single day, some new issue gets brought up in the media, whether it’s gun violence, the files, the government, or the environment. And every time something gets brought up, my hopes get high because everyone in the comments is against it and wants something to change. Then boom, the hype is over and suddenly nobody fucking cares anymore. It was just another trend.

It took like a month for the files to basically be fucking forgotten. Are we seriously okay with that?? Are we shitting ourselves?? 

I’m honestly astonished, and if you’re a kind, genuine person who actually tries to keep people talking about these issues and reminds everyone that they still matter, suddenly you’re “ too woke.” Like, what?? wtf is actually going on??

Welp, I guess the CIA knows how to do its job.
