wedding shenanigans

No, I did not get married - a relative of mine did yesterday. My siblings and I woke up yesterday morning at 4 AM to make the 5 hour drive to the wedding venue out of state. We didn't get back until nearly midnight and I slept in until 2 PM today. Unfortunately, makes sense when I'd been awake for almost 24 hours! 😭

The wedding itself was nice, too. The ceremony was outdoors and the reception was indoors - all in the middle of forested bumfuck nowhere. I wore a cute muted-orange sweater and black slacks (dress code was fall-themed and formalwear), and I'm pretty sure I was only woman wearing pants. All the other women who were invited wore either a dress or skirt.

I am still very tired, especially after mowing the lawn - it was in desperate need of mowing, lol! Hopefully my sleep cycle isn't too fucked in time for classes (my university starts on wednesday this week 😶).
