WHALEFALLLLL - blog #6 ━━ . °‧ (ˊᵒ̴̶̷̤ ꇴ ᵒ̴̶̷̤ˋ)

(doesnt contain whalefall spoilers but does have vague descriptions of scenes)

i meant to post this yesterday but got home rlly late and then got distracted playing games with my online (used to be irl b4 i moved) friends for like 3+ hours so pretend this was made on the 20th and not the 21st 

oooookay OHMYGOD DUDE so today i had PE and theres this new girl from texas and i was just sitting waiting for class to start and also in my pe uniform (gym shorts and a school t-shirt) and she was staring at my arm and was like "did it hurt..?" and i GENUINELY thought she was gonna say "when you fell from heaven" CUS THATS LIKE A MEME THING YKNOW??? and then she went "those.." AND LIKE  POINTED AT MY SCARS LIKE BRRUUH literally whyyy and then she kept apologizing after and its like im not mad or anything just like slightly confused cus like  no one has ever brought them up when i wear short sleeves cus why would you but eehhh whatever she didnt mean to be rude or anything so yea im still okay with her and everything it just kinda threw me off but other than that shes kinda cool she listens to like metal and stuff i think i dont listen to metal that much anymore but i probably should considering i also have a few cds from the genre. 

aaand then after school i was telling my friends i met online how i was going to see whalefall that day and one of them (will call her cupcake) said she really wanted to go so my dad and i drove 30 minutes to pick her up and 30 minutes back to the theater AND OMG WHALEFALL WAS ACTUALLY REALLY GOOD. 

you would think a 1 1/2 hour long movie about a guy getting swallowed by a whale wouldnt be that entertaining but i was so engaged the whole movie and the story was really nice too. also extra points for austin abrams being the main character I LOOOVE his acting so much he really brings the character to life and makes it feel like genuine and stuff if that makes sense idk he plays that genre of characters really well. iiii wont be too descriptive since i dont wanna spoil anything but the flashback scene with jay and his dad on the boat at night when they get into a fight is probably one of my favorite scenes because the acting is so good and both actors portray the characters really well. i also enjoyed the like setting of where it takes place and all the places shown like the familys house, jays bedroom, the fisherman store, jay's dad's boat, under the water, inside the whale, i looove it and omg the details of all the aquatic themed things throughout the whole movie is cool. (also the license plate of the car being the whale tail <3). im actually not that good at describing movies but ive been meaning to make a letterboxd account for fun and to improve my vocabulary.
