What does « poser un lapin » means ?
Literally: “to put down a rabbit.” 🐇
Il m'a posé un lapin.
= He stood me up / He didn't show up.
French is full of expressions like this, strange, vivid, completely impossible to guess from English (even though some translates the same !).
And that's exactly why they're fun to learn.
