What's everyone's problem with teenagers?

When you turn 12, you start to realise the world you live in isn't made for you, and never will. The adults doesn't want you, or atleast to have a place in society. Neither your parents, nor your grandparents, your teachers and every adults that surronds you.

How can i be so sure? Look around you and see that there is nothing left for teens; No third spaces, everytime you want to do something with your friends that isn't walking around, you have to pay, every stores is either getting colonize by kids trying to be older than they are or the shops are targetted for children or adults but nothing for teens. Every law is built around oppressing the youth. Social media bans, high schools around the world not letting old teens and sometimes adults use their phone inside the school (not even during classes), books getting ban in school for the "children" to learn from, scholarships and checks for young people to live without help from their parents getting less and less giving to said young people.

Social media that acted as a third space is slowly getting ripped from teenagers hands while it sometimes can be the only "place" they can be themselves and actually being young. Teenagers are shamed online for being "cringe" but tell me, when you were 14, were you not also "cringe"?

Also the fact to adults, specifically +50 years old, seems to not give any attention to teenagers opinions or even rights. Saying that, because you are young and you haven't "lived anything yet", you don't get your say in anything. Doesn't that seems a little unfair to you?

The question is, to all the actual adults (+25 years old let's say) here, what is your problem with us? What did we ever do to you?

Yeah, I agree. I'm starting to realize there's not much space for teens
I mean, there are always communities online and cool websites like this
But I could understand why some adults wouldn't like SOME teenagers my age:talk2hand:

its because having power over us is easy, we're minors so we don't have a lot of opportunities to live independently per se. the adult that we live with is there to provide us, which creates a power imbalance between the two. many adults in their life feel like they have no control over anything, so some of them turn to restricting minors to feel like they can be in control

True.
