My classmate left a positive note after class. It said: HAVE AN AMAZING MONDAY! The note was just wonderful. They addresses all the people who came in and out of the classroom. We all needed this bit of happiness that day. So I smiled. And when they left the class, I left my own note below their little cheerful wish.
So what is your secret to happiness?
I mean, how do you walk around happily, not caring about what anyone says? How do you dye your hair just for yourself? How do you pick out a t-shirt just because you like it? How do you look at your friends and don't feel guilty for being boring and dull, while they sing karaoke in the teacher's room? How do you find this secret to happiness?
So I ask you, people. What's your secret to self acceptance? What is your secret to happiness?

this post brought me so much joy omggg! you write so well! i love your custom page too.
anywho, my secret is managing expectations. happiness is faltering and fleeting, so i lean on joy. joy in every season and occasion. it's not easy, but i remind myself of things like how far i've come, how much i've grown, how much i'm loved.
when i feel lonely and unloved, i think about how awesome my friends are, even if i'm not with them.
when bills and school stress me out, i think about how i am able to work and learn and how i used to be pursuing something i wasn't passionate about, and now i am!
i think keeping in mind all the joys of life, even in hard times is what keeps me going. happiness is good, but joy is necessary.

thats ok dw, i dont expect people to actually see this so i just mess around with the pretty backgrounds and rant. but yk, i feel like I AM the weird one for actually smiling at stuff like that, like, everyone else just passes by but i see the notes and little comments and go "aawww" in my head, but then i feel like a stalker, idunno bro everyone forgot how to love life ig!!!
