So theres this kid at my school right, lets call him D
D is the most rude and annoying person ever and people love talking to him and being his friend. I mean his like whole friend group has a weird vibe but like him specifically. His humor is just being mean and insulting people like he randomly calls girls sluts and whores and they eat that up, like wtf??? Also recently my friend was telling me about this gc she was in with him and he convinced them all to kick her from it for no reason, shes kind and active in there so idk why they would do that.

The only answer I can find for all this is that D probably doesn't show his true personality 100% to his friends, or he tones it down a bit.
Another thing I think is that maybe they justify it with the fact that "he hasn't done anything to them" or that he's just "joking" or "playing," which seems like a very stupid argument to me since for From my perspective, the way they treat your friend could be bullying, but you'd never know because they justify everything by saying it's just a joke 🥀.

Honestly man, just how school can be sometimes, i assume you're in highschool and as someone who graduated about a year ago now people get a lot more mature in college and its much easier to be yourself.
People probably pretend to like him because he projects confidence but honestly your school can just have a lot of assholes in it, either way i wouldn't let him get in your head to much just focus on enjoying your last bit of school and looking fowards to the future.
