Lowk the only thing im scared of is more people water it down to just a yaoi but yk we can survive (+ its been like this for ages so i don't think the fandom will switch that easily unfortunately )

i agree, plus I honestly thought Banana Fish was relatively well-known already, at least in the internet corner I was in (especially in 2020 like you said). Kind of the same popularity level as The Guy She Was Interested In
