So, as you can see, I am Christian, and I go to a Baptist church.
Growing up, I always thought that there wasn't a God and that it wouldn't matter where we went when we died. The thought of death gravely scared me, though, and it does still occasionally, but with Christ, he takes the worry away and gives me peace.
I still get curious as to why people believe in satanism, or Buddhism, etc., and what led to you believing that. What did you go through to make you believe in that, and what type of comfort does it give you?
My Testimony
When I was younger, I went through a lot of abuse with family members, and it led me to find a liking for girls. I started dating a ton of girls online and in school, and it led me down a path that broke me mentally during my 5th through 10th grade. Then thats when I started to find comfort in satanism and atheism because it gave me the idea that when we pass away we just come back, and that satanism leads you to a greater heaven, but before I got into satanism, I met Jesus Christ. I started going to church, and I started to hold onto my Bible, and I found so much peace.
The things they don't tell you about following Him are: that you will struggle with the old you. You will want to do the things that used to hurt you because it feels good. The enemy will tempt you, and that isn't a sign that you should give up and just go back to your old ways, and that Jesus can heal your church hurt. People who hurt you in church are not God. Those people misrepresent Jesus so much, and it leads people to never want to go to church or believe in God again.
So my question is, what led you to believe in what you believe in, and will you ever want to give Jesus a chance ?

im an atheist bc there's so many sexist Christians and if God knows everything, he wouldve known eve would eat the apple g
yeah thats my issue fr, theres a lot of christians that misrepresent God.
And if eve would have been stopped by God, i believe it wouldve defeated the whole purpose of the free will we have today. When God tells us no, its up to us to choose if we want to listen or not, but i hear you on that sooooo muchh
