2nd entry :((
Is it just me but people around me just drain me these days. I am not straight and i live in a fairly conservative country ( we do have some states which are queer friendly but def not mine). It's exhausting to consantly hear homophobic, misogynistic and sexist stuff all the time it makes me so tired... everyone assumes I'm the "quiet kid" but that's js not true... it's just I simply don't engage in conversations like these. It's not the worst place on earth pretty sure hopefully i'll find some queer people in the near future or maybe even people of woke nature.. I just ugh hope it's fast :( I'm in my 2nd year of my college already .

Dayum bro for me it's tha whole country (i live in Africa) and I'm bisexual but fortunately I met people who actually accept me the way I am. Ofc I still hear this shit everyday but atleast now I can count on them to have my back T-T

ive had similar experiences, not comprable to yours as the area i lived wasnt too right winged just a lot of rude people. things do get easier and you'll definitely find more queer people soon enough, it gets A LOT easier to cope with it all when you have people you can point and laugh with. there might be some smaller groups in your college of people so it might be worth checking on socials, i used to use facebook to look at groups for like unofficial clubs. i hope it gets better for you soon <3
