You’d wake up thinking about them, a knot in your stomach because your subconscious knows that they could be entirely different. You haven’t spoken to them in [insert time], you don’t even know if they’re alive.
For me, I miss her every day, she moved schools, I don’t know if she still lives where she did. We hung out a lot, her old number is deactivated, she hasn’t been on social media in a long time, her old Snapchat is deleted, she’s gone. I yearn for a girl I no longer know, a girl that could be dead or entirely different, or just the same.
