Work and shopping trip!!

Nothing super interesting happened except: 

1) I received some compliments on my cherry drop earrings (which I wear cuz I love Kakyoin from JJBA, he’s literally meee) I’d like to note that I got a compliment from this very pretty lady that I served and she was so sweet, she had said she was considering getting cherry earrings and I said “Yeah! I recommend them!” and mentioned how I get a lot of compliments on them lolz 

2) The worst thing that I feared could happen, happened. I accidentally cleaned up someone’s table before they had finished eating!! This old lady and her granddaughter had gotten up to get ice cream and I was cleaning tables and didn’t notice they hadn’t actually left so I started cleaning their table. They came back, I had thrown out most of their food and she yelled at me “Ma’am! We’re not done yet!!”. I felt so bad and kept apologizing. They remade the food for them but I still felt awful. However, I am fortunate that this old lady was very forgiving. She approached me after a bit and apologized for yelling and “embarrassing me” when I was just doing my job “extra hard” and I was able to explain to her how I’d messed up and that I need to be more careful. (It was my fault really, not hers) I’m just glad everything was resolved! 

Anyway, after work I went shopping with my family! 

We went to Barnes and Noble first, where I swore to myself I wouldn’t spend any money. I told my siblings I was looking for a certain JoJo’s art book, “JoJo A-Go! Go!”. I didn’t think I’d find it here, but my sister was looking at the black cart and said “Jocelyn… you should see this.” 

Long story short, I purchased the “JoJo A-Go! Go!” art book~ <3 

Typically I don’t make impulse purchases like this but this is genuinely the coolest book I have now. The art is stunning (I mean, it’s Araki’s art which I really admire) and the layout/design of the book is so creative I might have to write a blog entry reviewing it at some point!! 

We also went to Hobby Lobby and Costco. I didn’t buy anything from those stores, but my sister got a sketchbook, pens, and earrings (she’s giving me some of the earrings too!!) my other sister bought a stretchy snake, and my brother bought a faceguard thingy for his NERF/X-Shot games lmaooo. 

We had pizza for dinner and an apple berry pie for dessert!! It was so delicious 🤤 and my mom even made whipped cream for the pie yumm 🤤🤤🤤 

That’s all. I had a great day and tomorrow should be fun too~ Today I had to go to work (I work part time at a restaurant) Ughhh.. but it’s okay cuz I had a short shift!!
