Both my phones batery died and my back up battery died with no way of charging also tmobile towere were offline for two days with brief connected periods here or there.
Everything was back to normal around 8:00 est time tho power came back on.
But heres the kicker. My ds lite kept a green light i was def playing that spelling challenges and more ds game a lot but thanks to the games shorter rounds, and I could play it many times and level up to spell harder words and the battery would barely ve drained.
Tbh the ds lite kept me entertained as I also played some lego star wars complete saga and tenis on mario sonic olympic games on the ds lite. The battery hadbt reached a red light. Plus I was careful to play short sessions. To ensure the the battery never died.
Also I never or extremely rarely use sleep mode, I power the whole thing off for maximum battery savings when done playing.

That's cool.
I have great appreciation for Nintendo DS, although I honestly think Sony PlayStation Portable was a much better Handheld Video Game Console all around in comparison because it's more than just a Video Game Console there's so much you can do on it like Listen to Music, Browse The Internet, Take Pictures and Videos and also Watch Videos and so on and you can even use larger SD Cards on it through a Memory Stick Adapter.
But what I really liked about the Nintendo DS is that it really had something to offer despite it being inferior compared to Sony PlayStation Portable, the library was unique and it had lots of really nice games especially exclusives like Pokémon Games and the Touchscreen thing was very neat.
I was just talking about how the battery outlasted a 2 day power outage for me. Nothing really speced specific.

Well, yeah.
But that's awesome actually.
Nintendo GameBoy could last for a really good amount of time as well as Nintendo GameBoy Colour and Nintendo GameBoy Advance with just two AA Batteries.
