Yet AGAIN another poem

SIMPLY ME:

She was a wild child

An immature girl

With no manners

The perfect example of what not to be

She spoke out

And danced whenever she pleased

She didn’t give a damn of the world

That girl was me.

But that girl grew up

And her world became dark

She cared of others opinions

She became the girl they wanted to see

She danced when no one was watching

Matured to fast

that once naive girl was gone

A shadow from the past

Now the girl wishes to go back

To be the immature girl again

To dance like nobody was watching

To be truly herself

But I can’t go back to the careless girl I once was

Because the world goes clockwise not counter

So I am going to treasure the moments of my childhood

Because I wasn’t immature

I was simply me.
