zumiez's interview process is so effing weird

I went and applied to the zumiez at the mall near me and recently i got a call from them and they asked me to come in for an interview at 1 oclock. this morning i was searching high and low for a damn outfit because like half of my closet is like skinny jeans and band tees, but i ended up finding a pair of loose jeans and a vintage polo to wear with my etnies.

so i got there like 15 minutes early and i saw this guy i knew from school and he was like "are you here for the interview too?"

as it turns out zumiez does group interviews. i really wish i knew this before applying but then i wouldnt have this amazing experience to write about.

theres like 9 people there now and the manager of the store is talking to us and were introducing ourselves and stuff THEN he explains what were actually gonna do for the interview process. he splits the group of 9 into a group of 5 and a group of 4 and tells us were gonna do a mock selling activity. basically were pretending that hes about to go to his freshman year and he needs a back to school outfit that we have to conjure up and create a sales pitch for him. we got like 10 or 15 minutes to go find the clothes and come up with the pitch and my group lowkey did their big one with the pitch. anyways it wasnt actually bad it was just unlike any job interview ive been to before
