favourite easter egg

what's your favourite easter egg in a video game? could be funny, could be kinda spooky, whatever's your preference with easter eggs!

The Konami code is just really iconic... I love seeing them in newer games, and I think a toddler toy had it too lol.
I personally never played any, but COD Zombies easter eggs is just fun to watch, whether the process or the easter egg itself... 
Battlefield 4 Megalodon was cool asf.
My personal favorite though, got to be GTA Vice City easter egg. Which is just a literal egg with easter written on it hidden behind a wall — and if you played GTA Vice City Stories, which canonically take place two years before Vice City, going to that same hidden spot will result in the same easter egg being under construction.

i always loved easter eggs but my favorite definitely is the moon cube image from Portal 2!

basically, Portal is full of easter eggs and many of them involve Rattmann hidden dens. in one of them, you find what seems to be just another radio. the thing is, if you pick it up and take it to a certain point, it starts emitting weird noises, and that's the ONLY time something like that happens with a radio in any Portal game. well, the fun part is that the sound is actually an SSTV signal, that when converted, turns into this image:

and that is a clear reference to the end of the game. really cool, isn't it? ;]

inside the final boss of DOOM 2 there is the (fake) severed head of Main Designer John Romero, that acts as the boss' hit box. very funny lol

idk if it counts but the hell valley sky trees in Mario Galaxy have always lived in my head

In Silent Hill Downpour you can enter the Apartment from Silent Hill 4. 

Hmmm…well, I think that the Easter Egg in Psychonauts where it’s revealed where Mila used to work in an orphanage that burnt down with its children. 

Tho ya, I also like the Easter egg in fnaf where you can boop Freddy’s nose on a poster.

Honorable mention: more of a glitch, but if you progress further than intended in the PlayStation game “My Ordinary Summer” and make it to August 32nd, some creepy shit happens, pretty underrated “Easter egg” if ya’ ask me. Peak creepypasta material right there.

There's an alternative cut scene in Psychonauts that I've seen 3 or 4 times ssa kid but in the intervening years I have not managed to correctly trigger again. It's been a while, so I'm a little hazy on correct details:

At some point you can walk down to the parking lot and find Maloof waiting to go home. Bobby shows up to bully Maloof one last time, but is stopped by Mikhail, who tells him essentially that it's not right to pick on the weak and to stop. To which Bobby replies,

"GET BENT, COMMIE!"

Before promptly getting his ass handed to him by Mikhail. Bobby runs off with his toady, and Maloof starts hanging around with Mikhail for protection and enforcement. 

I swear to god that this is a real cutscene. My mom and both of my sisters have seen it.  I can't find clips of it anywhere, it makes me feel insane.
