I love knowing what supernatural things people believe in! my father doesn’t believe in dinosaurs but believes in demons so XD
it doesn’t have to be a creature, I know a lot of people believe in predictive/prophetic dreams, or maybe you think aliens are real!
Me personally…I believe in Lucky Charms, when someone says something like “I always get good grades with this pen” I 100% buy it, that is your lucky pen and it’ll work with pure magic!!
I believe that nature has consciousness, like it can perceive things happening around it and suffer pain similar to how animals do, just unable to interfere.
There's also an entity living in my apartment, we're on friendly terms, it helps me locate lost items--like just asking the air politely to give it back makes it suddenly appear. Realistically it just exercises my patience to keep searching but I like to think of it as a sentient being.
I Don't know, I just don't know....... part of me feels its so human-centric to believe in ghosts and karma and reincarnation or whatever. Like, we're the universes most specialists being? we get ghosts? yeah okay.
BUUUT, at the same time, there have been things in my life that make me want to believe..
It does reak of anthropomorphizing the universe for our benefit despite being such an infinitesimal small and so far absurdly short lived species on one insignificant little rock in a universe we can't even see ends in any direction of the like 93 billion light-year across portion we can actually observe.
Nevermind the over importance we place on the concept of consciousness itself,
We like to pretend it's not just the computational requirements for an organism in its environment to acquire the nutrients it needs to continue and propagate it's dna, how to best manipulate the environment to fulfill its evolved goal in competition with the rest of nature.
It's an algorithm for fucking acquiring calories in a certain bodies context lol.
But of course, we want to be silly and attribute that to everything above and beyond so brain chemicals feel super duper special 😊.
Any sorry for the text wall I just love it when I see someone get the concept of how absurd it is the universe would make special account of its function just for us and/our organisms corpses

@⸸⸸⸸𝕶𝖎𝖑𝖑𝖌𝖆𝐳𝖒𝖔𝖙𝖗𝖔𝖓⸸⸸⸸ totally agree with your take here!!! it's how i feel as well. i believe there are things we don't understand, just because we don't understand them yet doesn't mean it's supernatural or even scary. more specifically, i think there's a lot about the nature of time we don't understand or misunderstand, and the various dimensions that exist in the universe. maybe not in our lifetime, but one day some of these things will be understood better. but i do find myself feeling loved ones near me, and seeing signs of them, but again hubris i suppose... it makes me feel better though lol
i always say that i'm an open skeptic because i don't believe in anything but i will listen to anybody's stories and ask a ton of questions
Idk if this counts as supernatural but multiple universes, that there is infinite versions of me and i always wonder how what i do affects them and if they’re so different it’s no longer me
i believe in a lot of things!! supernatural, mythical, conspiratorial, theyre interesting to think about and gives a whole new open minding perspective. so if its prevalent enough for people to pass these stories to others, i guess these stories were real or sort of at some point?

But yes, I believe in the supernatural because energy is real, and I feel like our souls do roam about in a dimension we cannot see. Aliens are a huge fear, and I wholeheartedly believe if we ever come into contact with them, we are 100% fucked.
I know Appalachia has their own version of this with the mountains, but being from Iowa, I’ve seen some creepy eyes in the cornfields at night. DO NOT go into a cornfield at night
I'll keep my religious tendencies to myself, but with regards to ghosts and the like, I am highly skeptical. Most cryptids are real though.
I believe there's a lot of layers to existence that we're still figuring out. To an extent I believe in ghosts and paranormal entities, and I believe that we aren't the only form of intelligent life in this universe. I also subscribe to the idea of multiple universes and reincarnation. There's a lot, I've got an open mind to things spooky and supernatural :)

I do believe that there are things that science can't explain yet. And I do think that the dead can cross the veil. I am not talking about ghosts, which I think are more of an energetic imprint on a place. But i also have a healthy amount of doubt about the supernatural and i question everything.
I am not sure, honestly! I believe in karma if that counts. There have been a couple of things that happened in my childhood where I could not explain a cause and do wonder if it was possibly something like a spirit, but there was and is no definite way to tell. I think there is something out there, but I don't have any set beliefs on what, I suppose, if that makes sense?

Aliens aren't really part of the supernatural. Supernatural is like concerned with the metaphysical etc.
Aliens are very much real world physical in the sense that if they showed up they would be made of flesh and not like, magic.

I believe in a lot of supernatural things, for some I think the fae are real (kolbolts, gnomes, nesei, elfs etc), I believe in house daemons. I believe in forest spirits and water spirits. I also believe in lucky charms I have a 'good luck cow' that I have in my purse that I fidget with when i'm nervous. I believe in ghosts however I'm finding a little hard on how to really pin point on why I believe in them but they're def on the belief list xD
well, I sure believe that the ghosts of our loved ones are out there, still wondering around our houses, cities etc.
my dad's a shaman and my whole family is all spiritual/"supernaturally concsious" lol. we all see spirits (usually appearing as shadows) and my mom and dad can talk to animals and plants! i have a very supernatural life, couldn't imagine it without the magic :)
