Yes!! I love Sou!! His collab with eve in the album blue is a total masterpiece!! I hope they get to do another one in the future...Who knows?? he did another one with suis for the WHA opening, so maybe theres still a chance
I was really shocked watching the whole thing that led to tuyu being disbanded, I still remember fans scrambling to download all their songs when they were considering on deleting them. Im really grateful they didnt in the end

1-Mei eihara's music always has that really nice vibe, like a slow sunday morning!! very refreshing!
2-I knew a few releases of that band, but I had never checked out that song in particular, im enjoying it very much!!
3-I also knew this band by more of their indie tracks (which is not a genre im particularly interested in as of rn), but I had no idea their other songs were so different! im definitely going to have a good time revisiting those in the future.
4- I inmediately recognized hikikomori rock when I looked them up! the track you suggested has their characteristic sound while being a bit more chill and toned down, I liked it!
Also, im really glad for all the love sheena ringo has been getting as of rn, I first heard of her through ado's crime and punishment cover, a couple of months before it suddenly exploded online. Its only recently that ive actually sat down to listen to all of her tracks, the jazzyness of her music is unmatched.
Kaede is a good rec too. Im a bit embarassed to admit it took me really long to realize that the picture of her most popular album isnt an old photo of her but merely a black & white one, to be fair I was never paying much attention

i love my dead girlfriend!! its a really nice japanese shoegaze band, but whenever i talk about them people always assume i have a dead gf... i also really like uchu nekoko, mass of the fermenting dregs, downy.. etc. ik most of these are really surface level if ur into japanese music but i dont really listen to jshoegaze anymore so..!!!!
