@steven I love his vocals a lot... I'm unsure if you're aware of the kind of person Michael is, but he'd often have a good idea of what song should be composed next, though the results have always dissatisfied him...It makes me wonder just what goes on in his head, so I'd listen to the tunes....
Idk if you've listened to his solo music too, but his stuff are also really great

Soundtracks for the Blind is one of the greatest albums of all time in my opinion, but I haven't listened to anything they released after that. I am listening to a lot of their no wave stuff like Filth and Public Castration is a Good Idea at the moment. I would recommend Children of God if you haven't listened to it already, I think it's their most underrated album.
I fucking LOVE early swans but the later stuff doesn't do it for me. the first like 10 years is peak though.

My boyfriend got me into it, so far I've only gotten to listen to the first album but SHYYYYYYITTTTTTT they're good.
