How does everyone feel about the new anime?! I've been seeing a lot of mixed reviews on Twitter and wanted to see what this platform thinks!
is a perfect representation of addiction , even if a bit exaggerated for comedy reasons , but think it does a wonderful job of disgusting viewers enough to NOT want to be like main character or the other characters . not saying smoking is bad and despicable , but to the degree main character is smoking is pretty bad . some scene does even disgust me, but it was a little funny first episode .
I agree! i honestly really loved the first ep. I haven't watched the second one yet, but I felt it did a good job of displaying depression, addiction, and how it affects those around addicts!
i've only watched episode 1... i feel like the show doesn't take itself seriously and it knows. most of the jokes kinda fall shallow to me because even though they're sudden and obscene, which is how most comedies work, they're mostly for shock value and to make you uncomfortable. but that's the reason why it does a good job at portraying poverty, addiction and the reality that some people live in. what i like is how they don't sugarcoat because "that's disgusting". however the choice of narrative bothers me a little cuz one moment they want you to feel bad for the mc and then the next you just can't help but think "seriously?". what a rollercoaster. overall i'm not exactly sure how to feel about it so far but i'd like to see more.

I think the whole "seriously" bit is a good display of an addict's lifestyle. They do crazy shit that makes you wonder where they'll draw the line! I feel it was intentional and well done, with the back-and-forth of disgusting and slightly emotional.
in my opinion it is super sloppy, uses ai generated backgrounds and is just really boring in my opinion
didnt know it used ai.. (╯︵╰,) very shameful..
yeah D: i discussed it with my friends and we all came to the conclusion that AI has been used in the making of the backgrounds (feel free to correct me if u have any evidence/think that it is not!) 
(also the lighting here is really weird)

ah that is shameful … yes, especially the first image with sign . is not even hiragana letter or any form . would excuse it if it was far away not english writing . but isnt even that. will not be watching rest . (´＿｀。)
@lunch man how long does it take to draw a building </3 Anime's already full of overworked questionable labor so why can't they draw backgrounds...
