I use Debian with Xfce, it works nice and is comfortable to use.
Mint user here! I just switched to linux and so far im enjoying it ^¬^
Distro hopped for a long time, settled on Fedora
I also really like Alpine and Void.
Currently on a mangled Debian install. Simple & stable.

used mint for 4 months then i hopped to debian then i mained arch for two years straight
these days when i use linux i just use debian, it just works and it works well
currently stuck on windows because DAWs on linux fucking suck and its hard to set up FL to work with plugins on linux and im not gonna bother trying ~_~
@yashujibs lotta debian users on here, super cool, I usually see either the more user friendly ones or just pure arch
a lot of people who tried arch and went back just want a simple OS that just works without much of a hassle
CachyOS user cos jonathon told me about it. i started using linux like a year ago because i really didn't wanna use windows anymore plus i had changed my hard drive, used linux mint. i distrohopped a bunch trying to set this up and i'm still having some slight troubles but overall i like linux :]
shame there isn't an easy way to set up nsCDE on most distros though, i want my computer to look like that soooo baaad
