I've been listening to this band for the past month or so and I'm really hooked. And I'm not usually into psychedelic stuff, so make of that what you will. Is anyone else a fan of them or similar sounding bands?

Yes, since the beginning. It's been interesting to watch the evolution of the band, however I much prefer their earliest material (especially Panzerwitch).

massive fan, and others in the genre are great too like Atlantean Blood, Assassination, The Gates, Battalion of Eternity and more
YES YES I’m quite a big fan of them! It was my boyfriend that introduced me to them! And I’m proud that they’re an Aussie band :D
I actually have a story regarding them. I was in a textiles class with a substitute teacher, I was expecting a practical lesson but no, it was theory. So I sit there, kinda sick and extremely exhausted. I put my headphones on and listen to music, the teacher comes around to ask what I’m listening to, “oh it’s this band I got recommended, so I can’t really tell you, they’re pretty sikk though” “oh let’s give em a listen then!” UH before I could react, this lady takes my laptop, disconnects my Bluetooth and plays this out loud for everyone to hear (mind you it was a song from Spectral Ecstasy so we have that lovely album cover on display, AND I go to an all girls school. This is up there with my most embarrassing moments. I will never forgive her.
I still listen to Black Magick SS even after that though
