what are your weird/unusual interests?

this might not be to weird but theres this police bodycam channel that i really enjoy watching.

i find it very interesting watching how the police communicate with each other and how they operate.

I like fountain pens... that's not much of a usual interest these days.

I've had an interest in diseases since I was eleven. I also love lost media and PSAs sometimes, but that's a given for an autist on the internet. @-@

i love researching about phobias and food i like! i have yet to learn more about gummies

I really want a job of painting murals on smoke shops and drawing album covers for death metal bands. 

Oddly specific but old medical tech. Specifically stuff that EMTs and paramedics would use. Think like defibrillators or CPR machines. 

Kind of corny but blood, I am really interested in blood splatter and how it looks in a forensic sense but also with how it functions in general. 

- Fonts. Downloading them, creating them, recognizing niche ones in the wild and being able to explain why their structure works well for whatever they are used for.

- Religious structures within video game universes. Namely Daedric Worship within The Elder Scrolls, but in several other games as well. Currently researching the cult The Black Talon within the Dead By Daylight universe :]

- Video game astrological and calendar systems. It's pretty easy for The Elder Scrolls, since it's nearly a 1:1 translation of the Gregorian calendar, but it's still fun knowing the passage of the days, the names of the months, various holidays in that universe, and also star signs / birth stones. I have The Atronach tattooed on my leg, since that's my birth sign :]

- Fictional Languages. People can go crazy learning actually structured and documented stuff like Tolkien languages all they want. Meanwhile I am here able to understand the majority of the spoken language in Brothers: A Tale Of Two Sons, despite that being a completely made up language with only a basic amount of structure, because I sat down for a week straight picking apart repeating sounds. 

- INTERNET LANGUAGE and modern language evolution. One of my biggest research papers I ever wrote in college was on the very specific language used between players to communicate in League Of Legends. (Fun fact: The professor failed my assignment because the players I analyzed were swearing at each other, and being an adult in a class with other adults, I decided to document it, since that's pretty common and important in gaming language. Even things as simple as "oh my god" were marked down against my grade. My next paper I wrote in her class was on censorship of media, and I passed with flying colors. Quite a silly story, if I do say so myself!)

I collect Pringles cans because they're my favorite chips ever :3 so far I have around 17, but I had to restart a couple of months ago because my mom made me throw out my old cans (she thought they were dirty and would bring bugs .. sigh). Its only a littlee upsetting because they were the ones with the old logo (that I miss so very much) but otherwise I've grown my collection way more since then

I'm really interested in 9/11 (and other similar attacks, to a lesser extent) and shock sites/videos ._. It's difficult though because researching either makes me depressed after a while. I don't understand the people who sensationalize either of them

Eating chapstick and other lip products are sooo good actually. I used to have this Victoria's Secret strawberry lip gloss and I would just start eating it when I got nervous.

idk how weird it is but i really love learning old medicine/drug 'hacks' that was used. specifically i loved reading "The Sawbones Book", albeit its more of 'comedy' book and not meant to be taken too seriously, but it gave me starting points to research into old practices! it was fun

Tornado sirens!! I used to have like all the mail types memorized and I loveee learning about them! Probably comes from my love of meteorology and tornadoes tho LOL

watching videos essays on abandoned buildings, analog horror, or Minecraft horror mod play throughs but like- specifically falling asleep to it on purpose and it sounds insane. I don’t know why it knocks me out despite the horrors often happening </3 otherwise I really like strange stuffed animals or the art of frankensteining them together. They just look so cool, especially the clay face ones!!
