am i weird bc i prefer my bacon on the chewy n undercooked side like i jst think it tastes much better like that instead of tasting slightly burnt 😭

My best friend is like that. He loves chewy bacon. I like mine more on the crunchy side. It's mainly a texture thing for me. I don't like the feeling of it
Ive never really liked bacon, I wanted it so crispy it was practically gone when I did have to eat it. I no longer consume pork so now all I have is turkey and I don't care either way with it.

When I was still eating meat I too preferred it chewy. IDK crispy bacon always tasted burnt and dry to me.

The bacon my family makes is crispy in the middle but chewy at the ends so it's kinda like best of both worlds. But I like to eat the chewy parts last.

With having had fhroat cancer I find hard or crispy bacon harder to swallow so I tend to go more towards the more softer, chewier cooked bacon because it is easier for me swallow.
Crispy bacon is something I've never liked that much, I agree
