Do you prefer listening to music Digitally or Physically?

I tend to go back and fourth. I have a cassette player, record player and CD player that I use for all my physical media.

Both. I like collecting phyiscal music that I like but if im not able to access something to play the physical media i'll just listen on my phone. I don't prefer a certain one because they sound the same to me, but i do love the art.

Red Rover, Red Rover, Bob Lazar's Coming Over.

Mansplain over, Alexander signing OUT!!

if i have the possibility i prefer physical, but i ain't got the money to buy cds all the time so i use digital mostly

I definitely like digital better just because I like being able to shuffle and have different vibes/artists (though I could make a mixtape to do that as well) and the autonomy to listen to ANYTHING I want and not just whichever CDs I have on hand. That being said, I really do find it amazing how different parts of the music are more prominent depending on how you listen. That really blew my mind when I switched from listening to music on YouTube/Spotify to on my CD player as a teenager.

CD rips and it's no contest. CD quality/FLACs are so, so much better than streaming. I currently stream using Apple Music due to convenience but if I had it my way, I would rip/download all my music as FLACs and listen to those on something like an iPod. Don't currently own a CD player sadly, and all my other devices that can play FLACs/MP3s don't have enough storage.

I do have vinyls and a vinyl player, but it's untested. I also have a Walkman, but only one tape. Cassettes are oddly hard to find around me.

I feel asleep!

I honestly rather physically cause it makes me feel so connected w the music i'm listening to, also collecting cds, reading the book inside, feeling the cd and the box; sadly, in my town it's kinda hard to find cds from the music i like, besides in here the format is dying and there's just like two record stores (also the economic side makes it kinda fucked), so i end up listening a lot more digitally due convenience. anyway, i love listening in physical.

Vinyl is best to me. I don't mind CDs either though. Digital is convenient, but physical = you have it even if they take it off digital storefronts or streaming and I will always prefer having that kind of access to music
